Step into a deeper level of connection with your horse at this special two-day Equine Liberty Clinic hosted at Black Horse Ranch.

Liberty trainer Mary Lewis and R+ trainer Michaele Calderone are teaming up to share their knowledge, techniques, and philosophy around liberty work and positive reinforcement training. This clinic is designed to help riders and horse owners build trust, communication, and partnership with their horses in a way that goes beyond traditional training methods.

Throughout the weekend, participants will explore how to work with their horse at liberty, develop clearer communication, and better understand equine behavior through the lens of relationship-based training. Whether you are new to liberty work or looking to refine your skills, this clinic offers valuable insight and hands-on learning in a supportive environment.

Participants attending with a horse will have the opportunity to actively work through exercises and receive guidance from both clinicians, while auditors are welcome to observe, learn, and take part in discussions throughout the clinic.

Set on the peaceful grounds of Black Horse Ranch in Umatilla, Florida, the clinic also offers the opportunity to stay on-site with your horse. Guests can enjoy the relaxed ranch atmosphere while learning alongside fellow horse lovers.
