Black Horse Riding Club is where horses, people, and community come together — no pressure, no pretension, just good riding and great company. Based right here in Umatilla, Florida, the club hosts fun shows, schooling opportunities, and laid-back riding events designed for riders of all ages and experience levels.
Whether you’re stepping into the arena for the first time or bringing a seasoned partner, our events are all about learning, laughing, and enjoying time with your horse in a supportive, welcoming environment. We believe horse shows should feel approachable and encouraging — a place where kids gain confidence, adults rediscover the joy of riding, and everyone cheers each other on.
More than just events, Black Horse Riding Club is a community. You’ll find families, volunteers, youth riders, and lifelong horse lovers coming together to create memories, build skills, and keep the love of horses at the center of it all.

No two shows are ever the same. Each event is themed around the season or upcoming holidays, so the vibe, décor, and challenges are always changing. Every show includes three events — barrels are always one of them, plus two rotating classes that mix things up and keep riders coming back for more.
From playful and festive to skill-building and competitive-but-friendly, each show has its own personality. For the most up-to-date themes, classes, and details, we always share everything on our Facebook page so you know exactly what to expect.
You don’t have to be a member to participate in a show — everyone is welcome to ride. If you decide you love it (most people do), memberships are available and can be joined right at any show.
